Week 4: Day 1 - It'll cost you an 'Arm and a Leg!'
Man, what a glorious weekend, I happily turned 25 on Tuesday and had an awesome week follow it! I went to dinner on my actual birthday with my fam and then Thursday decided off the cuff that going to a concert would be a good idea and it was. I went to the 9:30 Club with my girl and saw TheWeeknd, who literally rocked the house, one chick had to be thrown over security’s shoulder and taken...

Week 3: Day 3 - Home is where the "Heart" is!
So two weekends ago I hurt my shoulder playing in my weekly flag football game. Now, this was a week where we were short a few players and depth was thin. Granted I am one of the “bigger” guys on my team I was elected to play Tight End and had to match up against a guy who probably had 40-50 pounds on me and was also athletic (I think he played football in college like myself)....

Texting with my homie, Reezy.
Reezy: Happy birthday you old fart.Youre healthy, looking cut already, have a great girlfriend, and a group of loyal friends ready to squad up at a given notice.Life is good at 25
Me: Haha, thanks Reezy, this is all true. Life is good a quarter century in!
lazygamertag asked: Do you ever feel like crazy exhausted after riding your bike to a from the gym? I don't have a car anymore and my bike (which is pretty decent) is really the only way I can get around, aside from asking for rides. It's just that I feel like I would be tired as crap by the time I got to the gym to do my weights and cardio.

Week 3: Day 2 - Back to the basics, (Happy BDay to...
So I know recently I was complaining in a post about how the weather has been abysmal and I am such a baby and wont exercise outside. I would like to just place this disclaimer before all of you judge me: I own no cold weather gear. Now with that said I shall continue, I rode my bike today to the gym because it was nothing but clear skies and sun rays all over the pavement. I will say this...

Week 3: Day 1 - It'll cost you an Arm and a Leg!
This weekend was pretty low-key, I intended it to be that way because I am turning a quarter of a century this week, tomorrow in fact and I wanted to save the festivities till this weekend. I was fortunate enough to spend some time volunteering this weekend at the DC central Kitchen whippn’ work a.k.a. making spaghetti and turkey based red sauce to feed 2,500 people in need with my lady and...

New Feel - tumblr layout changes
So I have been tweaking with the HTML coding for my layout and still have a little work to do, but this is what I’ve got so far. I still want to make the background image scroll with the browser, but I am having some opacity issues with the earlier posts actually covering up the image as you scroll down :( Regardless, I would like to know what you guys think of the new page, thoughts?

You Can Never Have Enough Whey Protein!
Whey Protein is actually the by product of cheese. The reason it has become popular as a protein powder for bodybuilders is because it is digested rapidly. It is the ideal protein source for muscles in need of recovery.
There is a lot of talk in the bodybuilding world, specifically by the supplement companies (BUY MAWR PROTEINS!) that 40+ grams should be...

Week 2: Day 1 - It'll cost you an "Arm" and a...
So last week was a crazy, but now that my world is spinning on its regular axis, all is right. First semester of Graduate school under my belt and I have a month off to chill before I get back to the grind. This past weekend it was beautiful weather the entire time I was in the city. My flag football team pulled in a hard earned “W” to kick off the weekend, lots of tasty brunches,...

Ugh - Life
Sorry for the lack of posts lately, “Life” has been extremely hectic as of late and so I have not been able to post things about the gym and other things I fancy. I will debrief everyone quickly. I had finals this week, bro bought a home, figured out class schedule for this summer, a thief tried to extort $500 from me, trying to get a hold of these people for a job, and laundry (which...

Week 1: Day 2 - Back
Whoa, so I am a Gold’s Gym member and I have not encountered a place filled with more people who don’t like it when you ask to work in with them, what gives?! Anyways, today was Back and I break it down into: upper, middle, and lower (standard stuff). Woke up this morning and when I was walking up the stairs my legs were like, “hey we are super tired!” signs of a great...

So with the spring coming people are doing cleaning, wardrobe swapping, and buying claratin-d; for me I think the first thing I need to address is my workout regimen. It is time to switch it up. It. Is. Not. A. Game. :)
So today is Week 1:day 1 of this new workout routine I have put together. The arms I do in supersets, which is, “when two exercises are performed in a row without...
