Another day has come and another day has gone and I am really feeling it today. The combination of a really intense back day yesterday plus a fairly heavy chest day today, all of which is compounded by hours of manual labor at my brother’s house. Today was removal of drywall, grass cutting, and lots of painting. The atmosphere at the gym for me today is best described as “meh” I had a great workout don’t get me wrong, but I just wasn’t completely there. Regardless, I got in there and got it done because I love to lift and being fit. 

Chest: 

  1. Bench Press 3x10 - 205/215/225 lbs
  2. Incline Bench Press 3x10 - 145/155/155 lbs
  3. Decline Bench Press 3x10 - 135 lbs
  4. Cable Cross 3x10 - 70 lbs each arm
  5. Push Ups 3x15 - Body Weight
  6. Dumbbell(db) Bench 3x10 - 65/70/75 lbs
  7. db Incline Bench Press 3x10 - 55/60/65 lbs
  8. Chest Flys(Machine) 3x10 - 145 lbs 

Abdominal routine + Stretching =  that is all she wrote.

For dinner, I just devoured an amazing meal stir-fried some celery, shitaki mushrooms, broccoli, and red peppers. In the wok I also tossed in salt, pepper, onion powder, a little olive oil, and low-sodium chicken broth at the end for the veggies to soak up; providing a little extra kick. I think some cayenne pepper/paprika might have been a good spice to add. Whatever. Then the main attraction of the dish was a tiny piece of lasagna and it was all washed down with a cup of iced green tea. Hope you guys have had a productive day in and out of the gym! Eye on the prize, now back to the Capitals game!
